2. Technical specification
2.1 Function: used for acid digestion and solvent extraction in sample pre-treatment of soils, foods, agricultural products prior to AAS, ICP, ICP-MS.
2.2 Main unit:
2.2.1 Power and frequency: resonant high-pressure microwave electric source with high frequency and power; industrial double magnetron, output power range: 0 to 1800W (adjustable); microwave frequency: 2450MHz.
2.2.2 Microwave chamber: 316L stainless steel cylinder chamber, volume: 65L; multi-layer PFA coatings on surface, corrosion resistant.
2.2.3 Cavity door design: double microwave shielding, with electromagnetic and mechanical double switch and lock-in device, to protect users from microwave; soft-closing hinge on cavity gate, prolong service life and improve user safety to the greatest extent.
2.2.4 Anti-corrosive ventilation system: flow rate≥5.3m3/min, remove excess heat outside digestion vessels, prolong their service life, rapid cooling after digestion.
2.3 Control software:
2.3.1 Touch screen control, simple and intuitive; real-time monitoring to parameters and operation; configure standard RS232 adapter, connect to PC.
2.3.2 Method setting:
2.3.2.1 Can save over 250 methods in software; edit, modify and save any user-defined methods; each method can be set up to 10 digestion stages.
2.3.2.2 Programmed and gradient temperature rising: user-defined temperature rising rate and time, instant feedback on temperature curve and its power curve inside digestion vessel.
2.3.2.3 Save and store method and experiment data of each run; able to access and review historical data.
2.3.3 ★Able to identify type of digestion rotor, digestion vessel, sample volume automatically without manual pre-setting.
2.3.4 Built-in cooling, 3 centrifugal ventilation fans with large airflow, adjustable requirements to terminate cooling.
2.4 Temperature control:
2.4.1 ★Real-time monitoring actual temperature of sample solutions through optical fibre temperature sensor, instant updates on temperature changing curve.
2.4.2 Temperature control range: 0 to 300°C, precise to 0.1°C.
2.4.3 ★Real-time scanning and monitoring actual pressure of all vessels through non-contact pressure sensor based on mechanism of high-elastic metal piece and optical ranging, and instantly update on pressure curve.
2.4.4 Pressure measuring range:0 to 10Mpa, precise to 0.01Mpa.
2.4.5 ★Automatic pressure-release mechanism in digestion vessels: automatically release pressure through pressure-release groove when working pressure is over limit. No need for consumables such as explosion-proof piece. Then quickly close after released to ensure lab safety.
2.5 Digestion vessel and rotor:
2.5.1 Rotation of digestion rotor: continuously and rapidly rotate toward single direction (2sec/round), more even microwave energy to each vessel.
2.5.2 ★Sample volume: batch digestion up to 8, 10, 12 samples; vessel volume: 100mL.
2.5.3 Vessel material: high-strength composite fiber PEEK for 100mL digestion vessel; modified TFM for vessel insert.
2.5.4 Working temperature range: room temperature to 250°C, max. temperature resistant: ≥300°C; max. pressure resistant: ≥15Mpa, working pressure range: 0 to 6Mpa.
2.6 Safety features:
2.6.1 ★Over 10 active and passive safety features, including industrial cylinder cavity, soft-closing explosion-proof front, real-time pressure/temperature monitoring to all vessels, alarm for over-pressure, elastic pressure protection device, protection for over-heat and over current, detection of abnormal sound, faulty alarm, non-destructive pressure-release groove, centrifugal ventilation fans, to protect users and instrument from hazardous gaseous substances.
2.7 Acid eliminator:
2.7.1 Temperature range: room temperature to 250°C
2.7.2 Temperature precision: ±0.5°C; LCD digital display.
2.7.3 Sample position ≥16, dimension of each position (diameter): 42mm.
2.7.4 Corrosion-resistant treatment to entire eliminator, anti-corrosive coating on operating surface, including over-heating protection and humming alarm reminder.
